CHEMISTRY, PHARMACEUTICAL, COSMETIC
A sector supported by excellence.
The handling of pulverulent products generates the generation of fine dust, sometimes very volatile: active ingredients, fine particles … of harmful solvents and vapors.
The powders are sometimes classified CMR by INERIS and have low exposure rates, called OEB3 (10-100 µg / m³), OEB4 (1-10 µg / m³) or EPO 5 (& lt; 1 µg / m³) . The installation of Collective Protection Equipment (EPC) avoids the contact of operators with these particles.
Pollutants, gaseous or solid are also potentially explosive. To protect the production environment, ventilation systems limit the risk of explosion, and limit its effects if necessary.
A quantitative limit of dust in suspension in the workshop is often defined to control the exposure of operators: ELV – Exposure limit value / VME: average exposure value. WATTOHM undertakes to reduce these values below charges in order to protect the respiratory tract of all operators in the area concerned.
Regulatory release rates also exist to protect the environment. Our solutions respect these values and continuous control systems make it possible to secure releases throughout the year.

Mastering concepts for the chemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.
In the chemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetics sectors, Wattohm specialises in the capture, extraction and filtration of volatile products on packaging lines and at preparation and handling stations. Wattohm also offers ventilation systems to limit the risk of explosion.
Wattohm studies, designs and installs tailored solutions:
- Bag emptying hoppers, big bag loading/unloading
- Laminar flow cabinets
- Reactor and mixer feeding
- Mobile suction units
- STD, ATEX, explosion-proof, inerting and stainless steel dust extraction systems
- Filling or emptying of IBCs, drums, reactors
- Dryers, granulators
- Conveyors, material transport
- Packaging and weighing stations
- Sampling
- Loading of tanker trucks through manholes
